Bill sent a picture with some interesting prop effects. They left Prince George about 8:30, flew for 4 hours and arrived at Fort McMurray about 1:30 local time. The weather was OK most of the way, but they had to slide down under clouds for the descent into the airport.
The plan was to fuel up and continue on to Churchill. That plan changed after a weather briefing. It was snowing in Churchill.
New plan: find a hangar for the plane, do some minor tweaking and go for dinner with friends. It’s going to stop snowing in Churchill eventually.
